Honest struggle.
Unshakable hope.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECT

A personal story,
given a voice.

I’m Cole, the creative mind behind Paradoxa Drive. First and foremost, I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. I’m also a youth pastor and a dad, passionate about music and sharing the gospel. Paradoxa in Greek means a contradiction; that’s exactly our struggle in this world: knowing what’s right and doing wrong anyway. Paradoxa can also mean near to or alongside glory. That’s what Paradoxa Drive is about: the drive to be near to God’s glory.

Paradoxa Drive’s debut album, Flesh & Glory, began with a simple goal: to write a song that honestly described our struggle with sin. That song became “The War in Me,” and the rest of the album grew from there. I started with song ideas straight from Scripture, beginning in Romans 7:15 and tracing Paul’s words through Romans 8. ChatGPT helped me refine the lyrics, and Suno built the songs using my sampled singing voice. The result is songs that explore the struggle to do what’s right, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the hope that His love will never let us go.

My aim is to do everything for the glory of God, as 1 Corinthians 10:31 calls us to do. Through Paradoxa Drive, I want to share that faith through music and hear how these songs connect with your own journey.

WHY FLESH & GLORY?

The struggle is real.
So is the promise.

This album gives space to confession without leaving the story there. Its eight connected songs move toward the assurance that neither suffering nor anything in creation can separate believers from the love of God in Jesus Christ. A separate female-harmony remix revisits the opening song as a bonus.
